Practicing Medicine with Integrity

A student seminar was held last 16 April, and an audio recording of the talk by the guest speaker, Dr. John Neil, is available from this site (mp3 format). Dr Neil is currently the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit at Box Hill hospital, and has a long involvement with the Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship of Australia. He voiced opposition to the Abortion Law Reform legislation and its anti-conscience clause in 2008. The speech linked to above is highly recommended.

Annual Mass for Altar Servers: Friday 21 May 7:30 pm at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne, celebrated by Archbishop Denis Hart. During the Mass the Archbishop will admit new members into the Guild of St. Stephen. Our altar server Damian Junchin will be admitted into the Guild.

Pentecost / End of Semester Mass: Sunday 23 May 5:10 pm at the Main Chapel, Clayton Religious Centre, celebrated by Bishop Peter Elliott, DD., concelebrated by Father Laurie Foote, OP.
Preceded by Holy Hour and Exposition of Blessed Sacrament using the Vocations Monstrance, from 3 pm.

Rosary devotion will commence at 3:30pm in Main Chapel.  Social event after Mass.
