Catholics on Campus Vision 2009

- To continue expanding and enhancing Catholics on Campus as an umbrella organisation for all Catholics on all Monash University campuses.
- Strengthen the Catholic faith at Monash University.
- Encourage and extend out to all Catholics to join our various campus groups.
- To encourage and facilitate similar Catholics on Campus activities at various Monash campuses.
- Continue to develop the “Catholics at Monash” web site for information, contacts and links.
- To encourage Catholic secondary school “transition program” to university – a transition to university for secondary students.
- The “transition program” will be conducted with an “orientation” day at Monash University campuses (e.g. September or October of each year).
- Notify all Catholic secondary schools via Religious Education co-ordinators of “transition program” and “orientation” day.
- New students can join Catholics on Campus groups on the various campuses.
- The “transition program” will help develop the following:
- Spiritual development.
- Develop and encourage an ongoing Catholic community fellowship.
- Developing Catholic leadership.
- Mass, Rosary and Bible sharing, Choir, etc.
- Encourage vocations.
- Conduct guest lectures with Catholics Doctor's Association of Victoria and Melbourne Catholic Lawyer's Association.
- Conduct social activities.
- Catholics on Campus can serve as a “pilot” project for other universities.
- Work with implementing similar Catholics on Campus organisations at other universities.
