Life Week Lecture, 14th September: Questioning Abortion
Update: Here's a link to some of Melinda's articles, from the Online Opinion Journal. Warning: most will find descriptions of abortion, and complications, very disturbing. (I would worry if they are not found to be so. -- JT)

out of curiosity who runs this website? i would like to kindly ask them to remove this website's link the the National Catholic Reporter...for the following reasons taken from http://www.catholicculture.org/sites/site_view.cfm?recnum=60:
"The National Catholic Reporter is a lay-edited Catholic newsweekly. This website is an online version of the Reporter. Its self-described mission is to "report, comment and reflect on the church and society. It strives for excellence in its publications, supporting a full, honest and open exchange of ideas. It works out of a Roman Catholic tradition and an ecumenical spirit." Unfortunately, the Reporter's version of honest open exchange is to criticize the Church and many of its most central teachings.
Because of the ever changing nature of this site, specific examples may vary. However, every visit to this site confirms its commitment to dissent.
WEAKNESSES
· Not-so-Catholic newsletters (Fidelity)
· Subscribes to liberation theology (Fidelity)
· Supports priesthood as a gay vocation (Fidelity)
· Criticizes the institutional church (Fidelity)
· Attacks the priesthood (Fidelity)
· Dissidents as regular columnists (Fidelity)"
From Fabio
Hi, I primarily run this site as directed to by our coordinator and our Catholic chaplain. However, that does not mean that we necessarily know what we're doing each time we put a link up. So thanks for letting us know about the NCR. We don't get that here in Australia so we're not aware of these things. I've removed the link. I'll try and review all our links every so often from now on.
thank u and God bless!
